Program Speakers:

Kate Mason is a retired hospice nurse with 13 yrs of loving and interesting experiences in the Boston area.  When she moved west she joined FCAWM; she now serves as Secretary of the FCAWM Board.

Dina Stander is a western Massachusetts based End-of-life Navigator, funeral celebrant, and burial shroud maker. She is the founder of the Northeast Death Care Collaborative, a hospice volunteer, author, and a propagator of Phones of the Wind. You can learn more about her work at www.dinastander.com

Cecile Richard has been involved with FCAWM since October 2015 and is currently President of the FCAWM board. She had the privilege of providing end of life care to two family members in 2021 and will share the challenges of death care.

Joan Pillsbury, a retired nurse and FCAWM board member since 2010, will speak about death care and green burial for her husband, Dennis Pillsbury, our former Treasurer. Joan carried on his duties, becoming FCAWM Treasurer after his death.
