August 17, 2021. At the monthly meeting of the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Embalming & Funeral Directing (EM Board), representatives of FCAWM and FCAEM spoke about the need for up-to-date consumer information on the EM Board’s website. The Board was receptive and welcomed our input. Executive Director Thomas Burke urged board members to review the content of websites FCA recommended, which he described as “really informative” and “very helpful.”
This board agreed to begin a review of their out-of-date “Consumer Fact Sheet” next month.
