We seek candidates for the Board of Trustees of this nonprofit organization. The Board has nine seats, with rotating terms to encourage inclusion of new people to “reinvigorate” the organization. We have 3 open seats now. We welcome people with perspectives from different cultures and experiences.

Board meetings are now held via Zoom; no traveling required. We typically meet once a month. We can be flexible to fit different schedules. For example, we used to meet midweek/midday, but recently shifted to an evening time (6:30pm on second Mondays) to accommodate those not available midday.
An election will be held at our upcoming Annual Meeting (Sunday, October 5, 2025, 2:00pm at Rockridge Retirement Community, Northampton). Any member of the Funeral Consumers Alliance of Western Massachusetts is qualified for election as a Trustee. (Attendance at the Annual Meeting isn’t required, but we do need to know in advance who wishes to be on the ballot.)
