Our Spring newsletter is ready! You can read it here on this website. Print copies are being sent via bulk mail to our members who are print subscribers, and to organizations on our “courtesy” list. Email notices via Mailchimp will soon be sent to our “e” subscribers to announce the contents and invite them to view the issue online. In this issue you’ll find an update about human composting; a list of new bills we’re monitoring in this session of the Massachusetts legislature, including “An Act expanding after-death options”; and a timely tip about how you could help support that effort. We announce our next Annual Meeting & Program (Sunday, October 22, 2-4pm) and provide a summary of the last one, including the program “Stories of Death Care with Love, Vision, and Surprises” presented by four speakers. On page 4 you’ll find photos taken in the archives at UMass-Amherst as boxes of our FCAWM files were donated and processed, and a link to a just-published “Finding Aid.”
